💭 This is where it all begins: with the thought, with an idea being passed from generation to generation without question. This is what precedes any mass symptoms of the problem, such as cruelty, killing, abuse, harm, and torture. The issue, at its core, has never been industrial or centered around the act of killing. It's always wrong to use individuals, regardless of cruelty. If you saw a child and your thoughts were, "How can I take advantage of 'it'?" or "How do I utilize 'it' in the most efficient way?" and so on, you'd be denying the very idea of basic decency and freedom, regardless of how you treated the child. Individuals are not "it."
✊ Let's not reinvent animal exploitation to be "nicer." Let's abolish it. It starts with rejecting that ideology you see in the picture above.
